Decking
We can helpWe can add external composite decking to your build as part of the overall project. Composite decking uses the same technology as our cladding — it looks like real timber but requires zero maintenance and won't rot or warp. A 3m × 2m deck in front of bifold doors significantly extends the usable space in summer and makes the room feel much more connected to the garden.
Access Path
We can helpA clear, level path between your house and the garden room makes a difference to daily use — especially in wet weather. We can advise on materials and connect you with landscapers we've worked with. Gravel, porcelain paving and resin-bound paths are all popular choices.
Ground Screw Advantages
We can helpBecause we use ground screw foundations (not concrete), the ground around and under the room is largely undisturbed. Plants and grass recover quickly after the build, and there's no large concrete slab to deal with if you ever want to relocate or remove the building.
Planting
Outside our scopeGarden planting design is outside the scope of what we provide — we're carpenters, not gardeners. What we can do is ensure the building is positioned to allow planting access on all sides, and we'll avoid placing ground screws where they'd obstruct established root systems.
Lighting Paths
We can helpExternal LED path lights can be added to the electrical installation — low-level ground lights or spike-mounted post lights that run off your garden room consumer unit. A good solution for walking to the room in the dark in winter months.
